Recent NFTS General Open Day A Record Breaker!
A record-breaking number of prospective students attended the recent General Open Day held at the National Film and Television School on Saturday 25th March 2023.
The NFTS opened its doors to hundreds of interested applicants who enjoyed a packed programme of events designed to provide visitors with all the information they need on studying at the School, with valuable opportunities to see the facilities first-hand and get a feel for the unique atmosphere at one of the world’s top film schools.
Throughout the course of the day, our world class tutors led over 30 dedicated sessions focused on our wide programme of MA and diploma courses including; Directing, Screenwriting, Model Making, VFX, Games Design and Sports Production, with attendees hearing directly from current students and recent graduates about their experiences while studying at the School during panel sessions.
Student ambassadors led tours of the School’s industry rivalling production and workshop facilities, stopping by our filming stages, editing suites, dubbing theatre, two cinemas, TV studio (with cutting edge LED Volume for Virtual Production!) and were given the chance to view some of the work produced at the School, providing a sense of the type of projects students create during their time at the NFTS.

Our Open Days proudly showcase the best of life at the NFTS and we are already looking forward to hosting our next one in the Autumn.”
