Get hands-on experince in our state-of-the-art, 4K TV studio, with this free interactive, taster workshop.
Leading practitioners from the TV industry will guide you through some of the essential roles it takes to broadcast a live news show. From TV camera operator to sound technician to vision mixer; this is your opportunity to experience first-hand these roles in a television studio environment, get a taste of what our unique Cameras, Sound and Vision Mixing for Television Production Diploma has to offer, and what it could do for your career.
The morning consists of the following:
- Welcome from NFTS Director Jon Wardle and Head of Television Production, Ian Stubbs
- Live demo in our 4k multi-camera studio
- News exercise demonstrated by NFTS students and tutors
- Tour of the BAFTA award-winning NFTS and funding advice
Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
You must be 16 years of age or older to attend the Open Day, due to Health and Safety regulations. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
