NFTS Launches Graduate Impact Report 2020 with Lord David Puttnam

John Sargent Scholarship Established to Support Production Accounting Students at the NFTS

Laurence and Lara Sargent, directors of Sargent-Disc, a Cast & Crew Company, have set up the John Sargent Scholarship in perpetuity to be awarded annually to a high-calibre Production Accounting student. It will begin with applicants starting the course in January 2021.

UK’s First Centre of Screen Excellence Launches in Leeds

Screen Yorkshire, The National Film and Television School (NFTS), ScreenSkills and the BFI launched the UK’s first Centre of Screen Excellence: Yorkshire (CoSE:Y) in Leeds on Friday 28th February with special guest, BAFTA Award winning writer and NFTS Honorary Fellow, Sally Wainwright. The event, which took place at Archive, Prime Studios in Leeds, marked a major milestone in the nationwide drive to develop and support thriving and representative screen industry centres outside of London and the South East.
