SHORT COURSES
Intro to Stereoscopic 3D
This new course will provide producers, directors and production managers considering 3D projects with all of the information they need to understand the demands and the opportunities of 3D. Through demonstrations of 3D -- both at its best and when it goes wrong -- this course will help production make informed decisions.
Taught by the country’s leading practitioners of S3D, this course will cover how we see Stereoscopic 3d, how the camera reproduces it and an overview of the equipment used in S3D.
As well, the course will cover the challeges of shooting on S3D from camera size to limitations in shooting and the affect on areas such as lighting and make-up. There will be a thorough discussion of the extra considerations needing to be made during pre-production as well as a budget and scheduling implications for S3D.
The Freelance rate for this course has been subsidised by Skillset’s Film Skills Fund, In order to qualify for this rate you must have been working predominantly in the ‘film sector’ of the UK industry for the past two years.
