Paula Garcia

Paula grew up in Assis, a small town in Brazil, developing a curiosity to expand her horizons that led her to finish high school in the USA. Returning to Brazil, she became fascinated with the moving image during a visit to a film set, being particularly struck by the production aspect – organising and coordinating the whole process.

She graduated with a BA in Radio and Television at the renowned FAAP (Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado) in Sao Paolo, before heading abroad to study at the NFTS. On the way, Paual spent time in Italy obtaining her EU citizenship.

While at the NFTS, Paula gained experience production managing a selection of short films. The School has instilled in her the professional skills and capabilities to join the Industry. Right after her course finished, she worked on the feature film Brazuca, directed by Henrique Goldman.

Paula plans to remain in the UK and continue to work in both film and television.
