I first got into editing whilst at university. Of all the roles that I tried in the student television station, editing was the one I enjoyed the most. I used my time at university to gain experience in editing and assisting work, and then decided to come to the NFTS to gain some formal training in the craft once I had finished my first degree in archaeology.

Whilst at the NFTS, I've especially enjoyed being around like-minded people with similar career goals to myself. With the aid of some excellent tutors assigned to each project, I've seen my editing skills advance with each film and exercise and look forward to using what I've learnt at the NFTS on a professional level.

I would ideally like to enter the feature film and/or broadcast drama industry in some capacity, and ultimately have the goal of editing within the genre.
