Mo Bazazi
Toledo Scholar 2007-2008
Mo studied Biological Science at Oxford University, but soon found himself running a business: a telephone company, that he started while in his final year, innovating with technology to send voice traffic over the internet for corporate and individual clients.
Turning his hand to filmmaking, Mo made an independent documentary in the slums of Brazil. Subsequently he has worked in different roles on numerous shorts and documentaries. These include co-producer on a 3 Minute Wonder film for Channel 4, and a documentary on the redevelopment of Sierra Leone. He applied to the NFTS to focus on fiction films.
He is currently developing a comedy series for television, and a feature based on experiences at Oxford. In addition to his graduation films, Mo has worked on several commercials while at the NFTS. He was awarded the Toledo Scholarship to study at the NFTS. Kid is his second fiction production.
