Screenwriting
If your first language is not English, please note that fluency in English is essential for the MA Screenwriting course. Applicants must send an example of their writing, which can be a screenplay; or other piece of fiction, such as a short story, novel or play, plus a screenwriting sample. If you are shortlisted for interview you may be asked for a further writing sample.

Entry Requirements
Applicants will have a developed talent for writing (plays, screenplays, novels, short stories), a body of work, a fund of ideas and the desire to express them in screen form. Professional experience in any field is an advantage, in particular work in film, TV or theatre, or allied fields. It is not essential to have a degree, but a sound general knowledge of film, TV and theatre writing is expected, as well as a high level of self-discipline and personal motivation.If your first language is not English, please note that fluency in English is essential for the MA Screenwriting course.
