Entry Requirements

This course is designed for people who can demonstrate a strong visual sense and a good understanding of narrative. You don’t need to have previous training in the field though some basic technical knowledge is required. Experience gained from working in the camera department of the film and television industry is helpful but not essential - we are looking for people with innate talent.

You should be a good communicator, be ready and able to collaborate and lead a team, and have an understanding of the role of the Director of Photography and its creative and logistical responsibilities. Your application materials should be of a good technical standard and show both creativity and a strong sense of visual narrative.
