Film: Make
Tea
2009 | 20 mins | UK
Synopsis
The film is about a person, who has lost the ones closest to him,
and found a friend amongst supposed enemies. Suddenly, he decides
to return into the past to mend the broken relationships. Will he
be able to? How will they receive him? Will he forgive? And will
he be able to forget about all that he's been through? The film
is about walls that separate people, that separate entire nations,
brothers and sisters, children and parents in one family.

Olga's experience
in London/Belfast
Taking part in this project was like a dream come true for me. Because
I could not even imagine that it would be possible to live in another
country, to film what you want to film, and to feel the real and
sincere support and understanding. The professional experiences
I had acquired, while shooting with my colleagues from NFTS, is
invaluable. Perhaps, the most important experience is the one that
I got through communicating with people around me, through living
in a totally different culture, in a totally different rhythm and
according to very different rules. And the most incredible fact
is that my main character became a truly close person to me. And
in this case the differences in cultures, ages or experiences were
of no importance.
